The Institute for Positive Psychology and Education (IPPE) has a recognised world-class research program characterised by the attraction of prestigious externally funded grants and research partnerships, publications in top tier scholarly works, a world-class research training experience for HDR students, and best practice Institute governance procedures.
The motivation and behaviour research program is a newly formed program with IPPE. The program focuses on research designed to understand human motivation and behaviour in order to promote wellbeing.
This role will provide high level support for two large-scale research projects within IPPE’s Motivation and Behaviour Research program under the direction of the Research Programs Operations Manager:
1) A series of neuroscience studies examining motivational processes during the performance of various cognitive tasks;
2) The development of research scales for the assessment of student motivation in university settings; studies involving the assessment of student motivation, personality traits, cognitive abilities, and academic performance.

Total remuneration valued to $89,619 - $96,302 pa, including salary component $75,727 - $81,376 pa (HEW Level 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
